Welcome to Bonham ISD Health Services Department
Our students are our most valuable resource. Bonham ISD provides a clinic assistant at each campus. The clinic assistant serves as a liason between school personnel, family, community, and healthcare providers to advocate for student health and a healthy school environment. Clinic assistants monitor required immunizations, perform all state mandated health screenings, track communicable diseases, plan for emergencies, and provide direct care to students.
Parents/guardians are required to complete a new health update form each school year. This provides us with basic medical information in the event of a medical emergency at school or school-related activity. Parents/guardians are urged to include information about pre-existing medical conditions, allergies, and medications, etc. on this form. Also please note that anytime there is a change to your contact information, please call your child’s clinic assistant to update that information.
Each school has at least one (1) automated external defibrillator (AED). Each AED is equipped with both adult and pediatric electrode pads. For more information, please consult with your clinic assistant.
