We are excited to welcome you and your family to Bonham ISD. The enrollment process is online via Parent Portal for all new and returning students entering Kindergarten through 12th Grade. Bailey Inglish Pre-K/Headstart students doesn’t use online registration, therefore you must visit the campus to start the enrollment process.

    • To initiate the enrollment process, complete online registration via Parent Portal, or visit one of our campuses for an enrollment packet. 
    • Student's Birth Certificate
    • Student's Social Security 
    • Student's Immunizations Records
    • Proof of Residency in Parent/Guardian's Name with physical address (lease, closing papers, utility bill)
    • Withdrawal form from previous school 
    • ARD/IEP info, if applicable
    • Photo ID of Parent/Guardian
    • Transcript for high school students
    • Custody and other legal documents must be file stamped and include all pages
    • UIL Pre-Participation Physical for 7th-12th students planning to be in Athletics
    • Students living outside district boundaries can attend with an approved Transfer Application. This process takes a bit of time as the application must be approved by the campus principal, then by the superintendent.
    • Parents must be able to provide transportation for their student as Bonham ISD cannot provide bus transportation outside district boundaries.
    • Bus routes are provided within district boundaries, however busses serve only certain areas within the city limits of Bonham. 
    • It is recommended students ride the bus home on the first day so that the bus driver can share the morning pick up time
    • Online registration through Parent Portal.
    • Additional paper forms at school start (forms that do not interface with Parent Portal). These forms are updated during the summer and not given out during Spring registration.
    • Incoming 7th -12th graders will choose courses and electives in the Spring and parents often confuse this step with registration.
    • Updated immunizations for incoming 7th graders.
    • Pre-Participation Physical for 7th-12th students in Athletics. This must be updated annually.
    • Income Form in lieu of Free & Reduced Lunch Form – link will be sent at start of school.
    • Transfer Application for out of district students required annually.
    • Bus Contracts are required annually.
    • Medication form is required annually for any student receiving medicine at school.
    • Please read for info on creating a Parent Portal Account: Click > link parent portal > and choose Create Account. (instructions for this may be found on Page 1 in the <link manual manual>if you need them). When creating this account, you MUST use an email you would like associated with your child’s information in our student information system. This is the email where you receive important notifications from Bonham ISD.
    • If you already have an active Parent Portal Account, click here to login. (Instructions may be found in Section III of the manual if you need them)
    • If you have a Parent Portal Account, but do not have all of your kids connected, go to the my students tab on the navigation bar and add them. You will need your student’s birthday and their portal ID.  If you need your student’s portal ID, please contact the PEIMS clerk at the appropriate campus (see names under PEIMS Personnel).
    • You must be listed as the guardian of the student and the email used in Parent Portal must match the email in our student system in order to see the forms when you log in. If you do not see the forms, please contact your campus PEIMS clerk

    • If you have a Parent Portal and are having trouble getting logged in, please contact studentenrollment@bonhamisd.org or your student’s campus PEIMS secretary. Please do not create a new account.
    • If you do not have a Parent Portal Account, please begin by creating an account by clicking here. (instructions for you start on pg. 1 in the manual  if you need them).
      • When creating this account, you MUST use an email associated with your child’s information in our student information system. This is the email where you receive important notifications from Bonham ISD.
      • If you do not know which email is associated with your student’s account, please contact the PEIMS clerk at the appropriate campus (see names under PEIMS Personnel).
      • You can contact your child’s campus for the Portal ID to add your child to your Parent Portal Account.
  • Most campus personnel are not available during the summer months. Please use the student enrollment email for summer communications.
