About Our District Clinics

Our students are our most valuable resource.  Bonham ISD provides a clinic assistant at each campus.  The clinic assistant serves as a liaison between school personnel, family, community, and healthcare providers to advocate for student health and a healthy school environment.  Clinic assistants monitor required immunizations, perform all state-mandated health screenings, track communicable diseases, plan for emergencies, and provide direct care to students.

Parents or guardians are required to complete a new health update form each school year.  This provides us with basic medical information during a medical emergency at school or a school-related activity.  Parents or guardians are urged to include information about pre-existing medical conditions, allergies, medications, etc., on the health information form.  Also, please note that anytime there is a change to your contact information, please call your child’s clinic assistant to update that information.

Each school has at least one (1) automated external defibrillator (AED).  Each AED is equipped with both adult and pediatric electrode pads.  For more information, please consult with your clinic assistant.
