Bonham ISD Hires NEW Police Chief, Stephen Dean!

Bonham ISD would like to welcome and introduce our newest member to the Warrior Family, Bonham ISD’s Police Chief, Stephen Dean. Chief Dean is a Bonham Native. He is a Bonham High graduate, Class of 1988, and a Texas A&M graduate, Class of 1993 with a B.S. in Criminal Justice. Chief Dean has over 20 years in law enforcement, most of that time was with the Sherman Police Department. He has been fortunate enough to serve in a variety of roles and gain experience as he worked his way through the ranks to Assistant Chief. Chief Dean also has experience working on school campuses and being with students.

Chief Dean is married to Jana Dean, and they have been married for over 25 years and they have two grown children. 

As we look forward to having Chief Dean take the lead of our BISD Police Department, he looks forward to serving the good people of Bonham and helping to ensure all students have a safe and positive learning experience!
